CTG and Great Wall Motor's rooftop solar project achieves full-capacity grid connection

On August 18th, a distributed rooftop solar project jointly developed by CTG and Chinese automaker Great Wall Motor?(GWM)?achieved full-capacity grid connection. It marked the official operation of this low-carbon, environmentally friendly, and smart integrated solar project within the industrial park?of GWM.

Located in the industrial park of GWM's?branch in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, the project features a total of 43,853 solar panels with an installed capacity of 17.28 MW.

It supplies?power generated to the industrial park?and feeds?the rest?into the grid, which stands at 18,311.8 MWh annually. The project saves approximately 5,506.35 tonnes of standard coal and reduces carbon emissions by about 15,000 tonnes on an annual basis.
