River
Management
CTG has developed key capabilities in areas including the conservation of rare flora and fauna, ecological regulation of cascade reservoirs, comprehensive protection of water sources in rivers, lakes, and reservoirs, smart water management, and the construction of new sewage treatment plants.
CTG has mastered the protection technologies for rare and endemic plants in the Three Gorges region with independent intellectual property rights. It has successfully bred more than 30 types of rare and endangered plants, totaling over 50,000 plants, supplementing the wild population of rare and endangered plants. Significant progress has been achieved in the genetic management of Chinese sturgeon artificial populations, and DNA early sex identification technology has been successfully developed with 100% accuracy. This technology enables gender balance and targeted parental training of artificial populations as early as possible to maximize ecological benefits.
CTG collaborate with upstream and downstream advantageous resources in the industrial chain to conduct specialized research on smart water management, pipeline detection, sludge treatment, river and lake water environmental carrying capacity, and smart pipeline construction. This collaboration promotes the advancement of water ecological restoration technology.
